To the friends and family of Eugene Roe, after watching the Band of Brothers for the god only knows time, I finally decided to research some of the men in Easy Company, mainly Eugene Roe. The reason why he was such an interest to me is first of all, I am to from Louisiana as well and us Cajuns have to stick together, lol. The main reason for my research is because of the fact that as of June or July 2004 I will be leaving for basic training in the United States Army. And I can only hope to be as good of a soldier as Eugene was said to be. I have requested to attend jump school and then volunteer for Ranger school as well. I want to wish everyone past, present and future who is in the United States Army the best of luck and I hope you have a long and happy life.

I can't put it into words about what i think about Eugene so all I'll say is that he was a truly remarkable soldier/medic and that may he R.I.P
