McDonough Jumps on Donner's Timeline
Monday, March 11, 2002
Band of Brothers star Neal McDonough has joined the cast of Paramount Pictures' Timeline, says The Hollywood Reporter. The Richard Donner-directed project, based on Michael Crichton's novel, begins shooting April 8.
Timeline is a time-travel story about a group of young grad-school scientists -- played by Paul Walker, Gerard Butler and Frances O'Connor, among others -- who go back to the 14th century to rescue their mentor, Professor Johnston, via a time machine.
McDonough will play John Gordon, a retired Army general who travels back in time with the group. He can next be seen in Steven Spielberg's Minority Report.
