I have received a reply from the Stephens County Historical Society. This is the organization that offers replicas of the Physical Training shirts worn by the men of Easy Co. [and duplicated for the series]. The Easy Co. site that offers the link doesn’t display the snail mail for ordering. So to alleviate emailing Lamar Davis, waiting for a reply, etc., here’s the info; Lamar states ‘please tell the members of your group to send…’ I’m going to assume he does not mind that I post his reply here. It will only generate more business for the Society, after all. Also, there’s info on ordering other Easy Co. items. Personally, I can’t wait to receive my shirt and Collector’s Edition Magazine.

Gang,

Here’s the info to order your own Toccoa shirt just like the ones, the guys wore in ‘Band of Brothers.

Gee Jane, thats a jolly good find!

You'll love the 'WWII presents BoB' magazine. I managed to get a copy last year thro' some dear soul J.. Near the centre pages it has a Company E roll call for 1942-1945 (which is on this site), it's wonderful & comes in jolly handy when you're finding out different facts!..Also, the pic on pages 10&11 which was taken at Fort Bragg, can also be found in Forrest Guth's book 'The Way We Were' with everyone named!!..(I managed to get the book in Ste Mere Eglise in June - so it is written both in English & in French!!!)

Best Wishes.

Sorry K, just had another thought!!!

The picture that was taken at Fort Bragg, from what I can make out, none of the MEDICS are in the photo!? (Summer 1943), so I presume that they must have been medical training at the time.

Some of the girls in Damianlewisgroup and Easygroup are planning a 'do' in Las Vegas. We were told to wear our Toccoa shirts.

BTW, within the first 60 mins of posting you can edit your message, nice feature [thanks D and C] :)
See the 'Edit' link up there under my name? Give it a whirl, have fun.

can anyone give me the names of the stores in the UK that might sell the posters?

thanks a lot,

irene

Hi Irene, I asked my brother in law again because he told me about the store. It's not in Beek but it's the expo in Maastricht. They wouldn't tell me more, maybe they will surprise me for xmis, although I already have a poster, a friend of my brother bought it with his creditcard and than I depossit the money from mine to his bankaccount. The poster I want now only is on sale by e-bay. Hope it helps a bit.

I don't know if Nijmegen has it, Sittard doesn't have it, I checked a million times. I haven't been to Maastricht yet, but if I have the time I will check it out. See what they have.

Hi does anyone know any British shops that sell BoB posters AT ALL? I'm getting pretty frustrated because i haven't seen 1 yet! Please help me! Also, if anyone finds any sites that sell posters by cheque or cash please post it there. I'm only 17 and don't have a credit card yet. Cheers!

Hi,

Try ebay (www.ebay.co.uk) there is absolutely loads of BoB memorabilia and collectables including posters.

The US search on ebay always provides more matches then the uk search but you generally need to use a credit card for US sellers. Whereas UK sellers you can generally use personal cheques or postal orders.

However the best stuff is usually via the US search and they're the sellers that usually have the posters. Have a look for yourself. Good luck bidding.

kind regards

Hi all,

I am also very interested in buying BoB poster, the one with 13 soldiers on it. Maybe it's just me who is being a bad searcher .. but I couldn't find any online shop that sells it except eBay (it's printed in portrait format, I prefer to have it printed in landscape. And I am no good in bidding =D).

Do any of you happen to bump into the poster somewhere? Will appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks a lot.
