Anybody know if More did get Hitlers photo album back to the states? What happened to it thereafter?
More was another character who seemed to last the whole of the "Story" from Toccoa to Germany without getting badly hurt.
Its strange that when i first saw the series i only spotted that his character was played by a guy who was in Eastenders (A Soap Opera here in the UK). I then presumed that he was a replacement, but having wacthing the series quite a few times since he is in fact there all the way through.
In the final episode during Winters speach of what happened to the men after the war, he said that he dies in an automobile accident in 1958(ish).

More was strange man to me too...i didn't even know him until ep.10. I don't know what it was in him that i never noticed him.
In the end they say only that More brought photo albums to Wyoming. Maybe they say more in the book but i haven't read it so far yet

There wasn't much on Alton More in the book either. I didn't really know him until i watched the series again.
Maybe Hitler's album is in some museum or something?

Alton More appeared on the series quite a few times. He can be usually seen with Walter "Smokey" Gordon as he assisted him in feeding the .30 cal machine gun. In esp 3 he was riding with Malarkey on one of those motorcycle with the sidecar, which they almost hit a truck. He sort of faded from the series when Gordon got hit in esp 6.

He was one of those characters like Skinny Sisk and James Moe Alley. They are in all the way through but don't do as much as other guys (in the series only, not in real life)
Some of the soldiers werent in the series at all.
They probably wanted to get the story that a guy took hitlers photo album rather than the character into the series. Lets face it it is quite amazing isnt it?
